HARRY

Hello everyone I am a Habitat Hero and my name is Harry. I am ten years old and my hobbies are hunting, running, architecture.
I became a Habitat Hero because I am good with nature. Also I am actually moving into a new home -a new piece of land . There are pukekos, hares, trees and more ... I bring fun and laughter to my team members. I am also a fun, happy and excited team member. I hope me and my team members can save the world from the pests.
MAX

I am Max and I am in Year 4. I enjoy learning about nature and I was very proud of the Footprint investigation I did to try and find out what insects were in our traps.
AVA

Hi I am Ava. I love being a Habitat Hero. I am enthusiastic and persistent and Mum reckons I am quietly determined. I like to research. I like hunting on the farm and shooting possums on the farm with my cousins. At school I like making bracelets with leaves and flowers with Olivia. I want to bring back the birds to Haumoana School.
I also love sport, shopping and cafes with Mum.
SOPHIA

I am Sophia. I am 8 years old and am in Year 4. I enjoy doing many things including singing and reading -especially Harry Potter.
I have helped a lot in this project and hope to help a lot more in the future.
MORGAN

I love nature because it is beautiful. I am a quiet but thoughtful person.

I have my own ideas about life and nature. I have helped Mum (Tamsin) save and care for kiwi since I was 2 years old.
I want to make a difference.
JACK

Hi my name is Jack and I am nine years old. I live in a little coastal village called Te Awanga. I love animals. At home I have a puppy, a cat and some tropical fish. When I am not at home playing with my puppy, Scout, I love to go to my friend's orchard and go hunting for rabbits. I really want to do what I can to make our country a safer place for native animals, and I do this by thinking of safe places to set traps where only the predators will go into.
JOKARVIN

My name is Jokarvin. I am in Year 4 and have enjoyed helping bring the birds back to Haumoana School from Cape Sanctuary.
I have really enjoyed setting the Tracking Stations and hope I get to set and check the traps.
